GigaTrust Tip - Viewing Usage Reports
GigaTrust provides authors with an easy means to determine who has obtained and who has tried to obtain a usage license to read protected content. Authors can use this functionality as a means of auditing distribution to authorized and unauthorized users.
Step 1: Open the content that you protected. If you protected the content using Microsoft Outlook®, the protected content is usually located in your 'Sent Items' folder.
Step 2: Right-click anywhere in the protected document and select the Show Access Report option.
Following are screen images of the process described above.
Navigate to the protected item, right-click, and select Show Access Report on the menu.

Note: The report describes users that have retrieved a usage license to open the content as well as users who tried to retrieve a usage license but were not authorized to do so. The report does not guarantee that the recipient read the content, it records the fact that the user received a valid content key which could be used to open the content. The time and date is recorded each time the recipient requests a usage license.
