GigaTrust Tip - Protecting via a BlackBerry
GigaTrust allows authorized users to protect content on a BlackBerry mobile device. To take advantage of this feature, users should follow the set-up and requirements given in Tip:
View via a BlackBerry.
To Protect an Email:
- Compose your email as usual. Then select the Protect with GigaTrust option. (See Figure 1.) This displays the Permissions options.
- Enter your GigaTrust User ID and password and optionally select to save the password on the BlackBerry. Next, using the spacebar, choose the permissions you want to assign to the email. (See Figure 2.)
- Select the Protect option to RM-protect the email. Once your email is in a protected state, send it as usual.
