GigaTrust Tip - Creating Policy Rules (Protection in Zero Clicks!)

Using GigaTrust you can automatically protect your email without clicking a button. Use GigaTrust policy rules to prevent careless errors which could result in large financial and intellectual property losses. Use this feature to:
  • Prevent the auto-complete feature in Outlook from sending confidential information to the wrong person.
  • Protect content with specific phrases such as Company Confidential or Case Number 123 in the message subject or message body.
  • Protect all information delivered to a specific recipient.

Set Policy Rules

Type and Send your Email

1. Right-click the GigaTrust icon in the system tray and select Preferences...



2. Select Options tab, then select the Rules... button.



3. Create rules based on text in the subject line, text in the message body, destination email address, or address domain.

1. Type your email as you normally would.



2. Approve the policy application when prompted by the warning screen.



Protection rules can be defined by each individual user. With GigaTrust Business Solutions, the administrator can define rules that are automatically distributed to each of the users. This way, teams, projects, and policies can be established quickly and efficiently.
