GigaTrust Tip - Configuring the Email Toolbar

GigaTrust allows users to quickly and easily select the type of protection they want directly from the Outlook toolbar. Once selected, GigaTrust uses the classification to assign the correct template and place text such as "Classification: Confidential" in the body of the email.

GigaTrust will help enterprise administrators customize the toolbar which can be pushed to all employees using group policies. This provides administrators with a mechanism to provide employees with a standard list of policy rules linked to pre-defined templates.

Users can customize the toolbar for individual needs by modifying an XML-based configuration file. If you want to learn how to do this, please contact your account rep.

Figure 1 (below) illustrates how the toolbar can be configured to support a Classified/Unclassified scheme for the government. Private industry can configure support for Confidential/Restricted schemes that are commonplace in company information policies.
