Gigatrust’S dan TWOMEY JOINS INDUSTRY ADVISORY COUNCIL EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

Elected to a Two-year Term, Twomey takes office July 1

Herndon, VA—June 30, 2008 – GigaTrust today announced that Dan Twomey, Executive Director of Federal business in the DoD, DHS and the Intelligence Community, will join the Industry Advisory Council (IAC) executive committee on July 1st. He and four others were recently elected to serve two-year terms on the executive committee of IAC, a non-profit organization that fosters a collaborative environment between industry and government in the information technology arena. Mr. Twomey joins with 10 others to make up an executive committee that oversees the activities of the 550-member organization.

IAC has been a successful and important organization for this community for nearly 20 years bringing many opportunities to discuss the important IT topics of the day and improving communications between government and industry,” said Lesley Gorog Harris, GigaTrust Vice President, U.S. Public Sector. “His 30 years as a leader in the information technology industry will certainly be a plus for IAC.” Mr. Twomey is a recent chair of the Enterprise Architecture Shared Interest Group (SIG) of the Industry Advisory Council (IAC), and Vice Chair of the Defense Committee of another industry group, the Information Technology Association of America (ITAA).

He joins others at GigaTrust who volunteer their time to serve their industry.
